Professional Experience

  • 2005-Lecturer of Ecology, Department of Ecology, School of Ecology and Technology Development, Mongolian State University of Agriculture
  • 2002 – December 2005, I worked as a mammalogist in the “Dynamics of Biodiversity Loss the Permafrost Melt in Lake Khovsgol National Park” project implemented within the collaboration project of the World Bank and Global Environmental Foundation. The project was carried out by Khovsgol Project of Institute of Geo-Ecology, Mongolian Academy of Science Working in the project I traveled to Khovsgol Lake twice or more times a year to Khovsgol Lake area and stayed there carrying out my field research for up to 6 months, investigating small mammals of the area, such as order of Rodentia, Heroptera, Lagamorpha and Insectivora.
  • 2001. I took part in the International group; in which were included scientists from USA and Mongolia carried its activity on the pasture specific of the reindeer, in the Khovsgol area, Northern Mongolia, being a 3rd year-student of the National University of Mongolia.
  • 2001. Omnogobi province /Southern Mongolia/ took part in the Wolf Census Commission, implemented by GTZ. The activity was carried in the National Park of Gobi Gurvansaikhan, in the southern part of the Gobi Desert, as being a student of the National University of Mongolia.
  • 2000, I was joined in the students’ program of the project “Long-term field research on small mammals”, carried by National University of Mongolia as a research-student, working in the field camp of Khonin Nuga, which is situated in the mountains of Khentii, Selenge province /Northern Mongolia/.
  • 2000, while studying at the National University of Mongolia, I took part in the project “Small mammal study” implemented by Khustai National Park as a research-student
  • 2000 – 2001, when I was a student, I took part in the field research on Brandt’s vole in the sub-project “Population dynamic of Brandt’s vole (Microtus brandti Radde, 1861) and its role in the steppe ecosystem” as a research-student, which was held in the frame of the project “Biodiversity in the Eastern Mongolia” implemented by UNDP in the Eastern territories of Mongolia in 2000-2001.
  • 1999, I began my research work from the University field research on wild animals and plants of the National Park, restricted area of Gorkhi-Terelj, in the distance of 80-100 km from Ulaanbaatar city of Mongolia.
